In this set, you will learn the most common set of consonant consonant “cc” combinations “that make a whole new sound.” This set has a good balance of the five different short vowels and digraphs in the initial and final positions. The flashcards have great photographs that encourage a child to look and see the distinctive differences between those words from Step 3 Blends and the Step 4 Digraphs.
